The staff and consultant team of the CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College
are proudto have had the opportunity during our 20 years of operations to provide assistance to the Los Angles business community.

During these years we have met many different, interesting and
self-motivated people.

We will greatly miss the "people" whom we have been privileged to help in their pursuit of success in the international business marketplace.

Training Services

CITD of Citrus College - Global
Training programs are designed to be both informative and practical.  The active participation of attendees guides the topics discussed and ensures that topics relevant to each attendee are explored.

The CITD presents a 6 part series entitled "Building International Trade Skills" or 'BITS'. This series covers the critical elements of international trade from researching markets to establishing a working International Business Plan.   The workshops can be taken individually or as a complete series.  In all cases advance registration is required.  As of July 2005, there is a $55 fee per individual workshop payable at time of attendance.   A 27% savings is available for advance payment of the complete 6-part BITS series.

Complete all 6 workshops in the BITS series and receive a certificate of completion in Export/Import from the CITD/CMTAC of Citrus College.  Other specialized workshops include How To Use International Legal Services, Working with U.S. Customs and FDA, and Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ).

A calendar of dates and locations for the workshops is posted on Schedule page. In addition to scheduled series, workshops can be held at the clients place of business.  This is especially beneficial to larger companies with many employees who would benefit from a practical understanding of international business.

CMTAC of Citrus College- Mexico Focus Programs of the CMTAC provide technical assistance and in depth training in Mexican business practices, regulations and all facets of trade with Mexico. Seminars are offered at various locations around California focusing on regulatory issues, transportation & logistics, and sourcing.
