The staff and consultant team of the CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College
are proudto have had the opportunity during our 20 years of operations to provide assistance to the Los Angles business community.

During these years we have met many different, interesting and
self-motivated people.

We will greatly miss the "people" whom we have been privileged to help in their pursuit of success in the international business marketplace.

GET A COMPETITIVE EDGE BY PREPARING FOR
INTERNATIONAL TRADE WITH OUR ASSISTANCE

The Center for International Trade Development (CITD) of Citrus College provides one-on-one International Trade counseling and training to businesses of the non-coastal areas of Los Angeles County.  The services of the CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College are provided at "No Cost" or "Low Cost" to existing small and medium sized businesses as well as dedicated entrepreneurial start-ups (new venture) that have a tax paying presence in California.

The CITD assists companies in developing and implementing a successful business plan for expanding their markets and increasing their profits in the international arena. Our team of experienced consultants guide and assist you through the process of importing and exporting by helping you find solutions that fit your business and steer you away from common pitfalls.  The staff and consultant team members of the CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College all have practical International Trade (Export & Import) experience.

The California-Mexico Trade Assistance Center (CMTAC) of Citrus College complements the services of the CITD by focusing on one of our main partners, MEXICO. Through the CMTAC program, businesses gain valuable knowledge and support for entering Mexico's growing market.

The CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College, a member of the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) and the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED), works with its clients in the environment of a Small Business Incubator without walls. Eugene 'Gene' Bohatch, Director of the CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College was one of the co-founders of the Business Incubation Partnership of Southern California, active in Southern California from 1990 through 1993.

While we do not have the "Bricks & Mortar" of a Small Business Incubator, we do have the critical components of a successful Small Business Incubator; experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated advice, resources and support team are in place to work with businesses to help them succeed. The CITD of Citrus College is fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve the Los Angeles business community since 1990.

The Power of Help²
Contributions, (tax-deductible to the extent allowed by current tax laws), to support the CITD & CMTAC of Citrus College in providing assistance to California businesses in international trade can now be made in the name of “Global Patrons’ Circle” to the Citrus College Foundation.
